I’ve finished my third large shop:

Coffee House „Demel“

Who has already been in Vienna, knows about the importance of the Coffee Houses, which are firmly established until today and which lead the guests into the good old times with their special glamour and atmosphere.

High walls, high-grade wallpapers, fashionable framed paintings and – typically for the „Demel“ – the traditional clothing of the staff give an enchanting charme.

Since its establishment in 1786, the confectioner’s has been holding the title „k. u. k Hoflieferant“ (supplier to the court). Even the famous „Sacher Cake“ has been accomplished by Eduard Sacher during his apprenticeship at the „Demel“.

My Coffee House is not a copy of the real „Demel“, but it was inspired by the famous house. Black cloth and white lace make the staff look so special for generations. On the second floor you can see paintings of emperor Franz Joseph and his wife,  empress Elisabeth. After all, Demel supplied empress Elisabeth with her favourite sweets.

All chocolates and cakes are handmade of FIMO.
