Playmobil started producing the „1900“-Series in 1989. There are several versions of some sets (earlier and later ones), which differ concerning the pictures on the box and little details.
For further information please have a look into this wonderful book by Axel Hennel: “Playmobil Collector 1974-2009. Limited Collectors Edition”. A great book for all Playmobil fans.
In 2015 I managed to buy at least one version of every Victorian set or to get it via classified advertisment.
